SaveMyBills: local business directory and deals platform
A local discovery platform pairing verified merchants with customers looking for deals. We built the web platform plus separate customer and vendor mobile apps, spanning fashion, salon, health, auto, home services and grocery.
The brief
SaveMyBills connects people looking for local deals with verified nearby businesses. The categories are deliberately broad — fashion and lifestyle, salon and grooming, health and medical, auto and vehicle services, home services, grocery and daily needs — which makes search and filtering the make-or-break feature.
What we built
Search and filtering
Businesses are searchable by category, location and rating, with geolocation so results are genuinely local rather than nominally so.
Verified listings
A merchant verification layer, because a directory with unverified listings is just noise. Verification status is visible where it affects a decision.
Deals aggregation
Offers and promotions surfaced across categories, giving customers a reason to open the platform when they have no specific shop in mind.
Reviews and ratings
A review system feeding back into ranking and search.
Vendor tooling
Business owners get management tools and an analytics dashboard covering listing performance.
Mobile apps
Separate Android applications for customers and for vendors, distributed directly, reflecting the different jobs each side does.
Web platform plus two mobile apps
We built the web platform and two separate Android applications: one for customers browsing deals, one for vendors managing their listings.
Splitting them was deliberate. A shopper and a business owner want almost nothing in common from the same product, and forcing both into one app with a role switch makes each worse. Two focused apps on a shared backend kept both simple.
